My Skills

  • Experience

I graduated as class valedictorian in 2018. I studied graphic design to put my creativity to good use professionally. Creating various graphic formats, including websites, logos, branding, and print work, from postcards to magazines. To gain experience in coding sites, I have also worked in development, which is of help when discussing projects with developers on how to build website designs. Understanding what developers do with web design has vastly expanded my knowledge of the best method. For most of my career, my main focus has been designing B2B and B2C websites, with one website covering over fifty pages, plus mobile pages.

  • Skills

After a client shares their vision and style, I suggest references and elements they would like to include in their projects. I am well familiar with UX/UI requirements for improved website usability and knowledgeable about adjusting colors for 508 compliance. In addition to creating website graphics, I have experience collaborating with developers to ensure a proposed site is functional and adaptable across devices while staying within the allotted budget. For printed orders, I have worked with printers to confirm that colors come out as intended.

My Story

I was laid off from my agency job in November 2023. I was the sole designer there for three years. Working on anything from a local baking company to a national metal roofing company. From folders to baseball stadium banners. Social ads to revamped UX/UI websites. I’ve kept up with my skills and developed new ones along the way. Even built this website via Squarespace.

I currently work as a custodian for L&M Fleet Supply; I started as a cashier. Still do freelance work on the side to keep in practice. I’ve been learning that my interests have expanded from designing graphics. I’ve enjoyed learning about analytics and seeing buyers’ habits. How they find the sites, what they purchase, and the frequency. Even seasonal purchases.
