I love to be creative. It is an integral part of who I am. After graduating as class valedictorian in 2018, I studied graphic design to put my creativity to good use professionally. I have created various graphic formats, including websites (both large and small), logos, branding, and print work, from postcards to magazines. To gain experience in coding sites, I have also worked in development, which is of help when discussing projects with developers on how to build website designs. Understanding what developers do with web design has vastly expanded my knowledge of the best method. For most of my career, my main focus has been designing B2B and B2C websites, with one website covering over fifty pages, plus mobile pages.

Collaboration—Team work—Adaptability: these are skills I employ to satisfy the clients I work with. After a client shares the vision and style they have in mind, I suggest references and elements they would like to include in their projects. I am well familiar with UX/UI requirements for improved website usability and knowledgeable about adjusting colors for 508 compliance. In addition to creating the graphic design of websites, I have experience working with developers to ensure a proposed site is functional and adaptable across devices, while simultaneously sticking to the allotted budget. For printed orders, I have worked with printers to confirm the colors come out as intended and the crop marks are properly lined up.

I am a graphic designer, living in Northern Minnesota. My prior work experience encompasses clients in a variety of industries all over the country. When I am not designing professionally, I work on beaded jewelry, hike in the woods, go fishing on the lake and practice agility with my Shetland Sheepdog.
